Normally, children do not chew on the glass drinking straws because they notice that they have something hard and stable in their mouth.
Nevertheless, there is a risk of breakage if the glass drinking straw falls from a great height onto hard ground.
We recommend using it only after the age of 3 years. Children under 6 years of age should only use the straws under adult supervision.
Our glass drinking straws are heat resistant up to +400 degrees and cold resistant up to - 40 degrees. Therefore you can enjoy hot tea or ice-cold coffee from your straw without any problems.
Cleaning
Yes, the glass drinking straws can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
In each set you will find a cleaning brush made of natural bristles. Rinse your glass drinking straw with water and then clean it with the cleaning brush.
Yes, each set contains a cleaning brush.
The bristles are made of natural fiber and the handle of stainless steel.
If you want to dispose of your cleaning brush, simply cut off the natural bristles. These are compostable and the stainless steel handle is recyclable.
Manufacturing process
We produce the majority of our drinking straws in our own craft workshop in Munich. For this purpose we use 100% German SCHOTT glass.
Our glass drinking straws are packed 100% plastic-free. We use recyclable cardboard boxes and labels with FSC certification.
Shop
The materials used for our packaging are environmentally friendly and the paper is FSC® certified. This means that the paper we use comes from wood that comes from responsible forestry.
As a private customer you can pay with PayPal, Sofortüberweisung, Klarna, advance payment and credit card.
We have tried to find a packaging so that your drinking straws find their way to you safely and without plastic. Nevertheless, it can happen that a drinking straw is damaged during transport. In this case please contact info@halmig.de or use our contact form.

For delivery within Germany we charge a flat rate of 2.80 EUR per order. From an order value of 30 EUR we deliver free of charge within Germany.
For shipping to other EU countries the shipping costs are 4,90 EUR.
We deliver to all EU countries besides Germany.
